Mom Walk

Welcome to Mom Walk

Mom Walk is a community of mothers who are walking the journey of raising children together. We seek to build friendships, support each other in life and parenting and encourage each other to grow as a community of faith in Jesus Christ. We primarily do this by meeting for a playgroup once a week during the school year.

Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30am (September-May)

Expectant mothers and mothers of young children. Children under the age of 6 are welcome to attend as well. Since our goal is to specifically encourage moms, this is not a place for daycare providers or grandparents to bring children to.
During our weekly playgroup moms have an opportunity to build friendships with other moms and visit while watching their children play together. Halfway through the morning we stop for a snack, and then shift to a program for children with songs, puppets and Bible stories. Occasionally there are crafts and special activities.
Wednesday mornings, 9:30 - 11:30 from the second week of September to the middle of May with breaks for school holidays. We don't meet when the highway is closed.

Mothers of young children are playing a vital role in raising up the next generation, but they can often feel alone, undervalued, and unsure of what to do. We want to come alongside mothers of young children to support and encourage them during this time and help them teach their children about God.
